When I first heard about the possibility of a Holmes movie, it was my personal canon that Jude would be Holmes, and Ewan his Watson. Ravishment would ensue. :D
Not to say that I'm disappointed with the mental image of RDJ/Jude, cause dude. Duuuuude. :D
Hooo, yes. I can certainly appreciate RDJ. I hadn't seen him in any movies before, but then I watched Iron Man and... *gunh*. Ewan/Jude would have a very different dynamic.
