Okay, having a bit of a "squee" over your favorite authors. PRATCHETT, BUTCHER, and THURMAN (reading Trick of the Light right now in fact)!

I found out that Thurman writes urban fantasy with male protags and then mainlined the Cal Leandros books after finding out the first one was awesome. I mean, I love female-centered UF too, but I was getting overwhelmed and a little variety is nice, you know? And I think I can learn things about writing by reading her stuff. "Trick of the Light" is next on the list.

I am desperately waiting for the next Cal Leandros book!
Those books just went boom, boom, boom! I just devoured them.

"Trick of the Light" is great so far. I'm looking forward to more about these characters as well. :)
